The group’s mission was to honour their parent builders on the 60th anniversary of the co-op. Initially, they planned just a one-day event. As they gathered details of the “sweat equity” build they were also learning much more about the East Coast and Ottawa co-op pioneers who had made the Grimsby build possible. It was welcome news when the Grimsby Museum invited them to tell their story in an exhibit.
