Although it would remain in business for another 25 years, by 1914 the Anderson Electric Company of Detroit, Mich., producers of the Detroit electric, were starting to feel the pinch. Its advertising increasingly showed sportier, faster electric cars aimed at men, such as this Model 46 Roadster.
