Lived In and Comfortable

Juno: Around age, I guess it was maybe 17 or 18, because before that like it was really a bit of a blank. A bit of a blank void. I don’t think I can really reflect back and remember that time, it was something I actively ignored. And I think that process is like a funny- like, it’s a funny transformation. You try out so many different things, right? I was living in the city at the time and I had a pretty out there style. I was wearing kind of crazy things. Trying to look as weird and interesting and fem and confusing as possible.
And I think now, like my clothing, it’s a lot more lived in, it more fits the activity, like, of my life. You know, I spend a lot of time outside, I spend a lot of time working around our property, so I wear a lot of work clothes and practical things and yeah, it’s a lot more lived in and comfortable and I’m less trying to make statements or show off something.
