Blink-182, a popular pop/rock band, isn’t known for its diverse fanbase. Nevertheless, they’re Nils’ favourite band. He enjoys subverting the expectations of who enjoys this type of music, and was thrilled to find this band shirt at his local thrift store, The Hub. It’s become a staple of his summer wardrobe.

This is my favorite band of all time, Blink-182. I found this shirt at The Hub and you could pretty much catch me wearing this all summer long. I’ve been to their shows many times. I don’t believe they have much of a queer following and I’m happy to be wrong, but I like that I kind of play against type, ’cause it’s something that I don’t think is expected of me, perhaps in the way that I carry myself or the way that I dress. I’ve loved these guys since I was about 16 years old.
