It’s Evolved with Me

Lena: I’d say that my relationship with clothing has evolved by like, with- it’s evolved with me. So, when I was born, I was born male. And now I- like, well, I guess forever I’ve been female, but I recently figured that out and I got to express myself through the basic art of clothing. I bought more feminine clothing. I bought makeup, which I rarely use, but I got to actually express myself. And I guess clothing kind of just evolved with me while I found my style.
Absolutely, my styles have changed a lot over the last like five years, even. I know that we were just kind of talking about it. And I had many phases. I had my phase where I was just in whatever, where I didn’t care what I looked like. I’ve had my phases where it was the same sweater every single day because it was my comfort sweater. I had a little bit of an emo phase where I tried different things. Didn’t last very long. And now I finally landed here where I’m, like, my princess pop era.
