Love Wins

When the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum’s Pride flag was torn down and vandalized in 2020, the local community rallied together in solidarity with the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. More and more Pride flags popped up in local businesses, and Tony Bove and Andy Williams, long-time partners, decided to get married at the Museum in a celebration of queer love. Hundreds of people showed up in support and began chanting “love wins.”
