Marris and Dennis Gawiuk, circa 2015

Dennis (Danny) Gawiuk was born at Mount Cartier in 1930. He married Marris Fulton of Scotland in 1953, and they raised their two sons on the family farm until they were forced to move their home to higher ground. In this photograph, they are standing in the water where their farm used to be.
