The Ministry of Agriculture organized three “sugar shack schools” in Beauceville, Beauce County; Sainte-Louise, L’Islet County; and La Minerve, Labelle County. The first admitted six students, and the others 10 each, for the sugaring-off season (possibly in 1910).
