Transfer Beach Area As An Abandoned Industrial Site

After the closure of the Extension Coal Mines in 1931, the coal bunkers and wharves at Ladysmith Harbour were abandoned, and the site became an industrial wasteland. The photograph shows scrub vegetation and the remnant pilings of the coal loading wharf.
