The Lyceum Theatre, Later Called The Rialto

The Lyceum Theatre, located on Roberts Street directly across from the Ladysmith Opera House, opened in 1912. It was one of several movie theatres in the town. The gentleman on the right is the proprietor, Jack Warren; on the left is the house pianist who played accompaniments to the silent movies.
