Every November, the streets and buildings of the Town of Ladysmith are bedecked with Christmas lights. Tens of thousands attend the ‘Light Up’ Celebration held on the fourth Thursday of November: this kicks off the annual Christmas/New Year ‘Festival of Lights’ includes a parade of decorated floats, marching bands and a magnificent display of fireworks.
