Canoe Races 100 Years Apart

Canoe races are still held annually at Kuleett Bay, where canoes from different First Nations come together to compete and share stories.

Canoes continue to play an important role in Stz’uminus culture and tradition with several notable Master Canoe Carvers, and an active team of pullers.
