The Opera House, once established, had to be kept busy! This advertisement was repeatedly run in the Ladysmith Ledger in 1904 and 1905 announcing the hall’s availability for rent as a venue for a wide variety of events, including theatrical purposes, dances or entertainments generally. It was used for concerts, plays, dances, movies, political rallies, basketball games and even boxing matches!
