Christian Bretheren Gospel Chapel On Roberts Street

The Christian Brethren used this building on Roberts Street as a Gospel Chapel from 1925-1986, when it was sold and redeveloped as a private house. Gatherings were joyful affairs, occurred throughout the week, and featured loud, enthusiastic singing – sometimes to the chagrin of neighbours who belonged to more staid religious groups.
