The Comox Logging main office is in the foreground, to the left, and behind which is the south end of the Machine Shop. The above-ground fuel tanks on the right serviced railway engines bringing logs from Nanaimo Lakes to the booming grounds visible in the harbour behind. The railway tracks in the centre-right belong to the Esquimalt and Nanaimo Railway.
