Paule Vermot-Desroches Covering a Story with Fellow Journalist Amélie St-Yves

While out walking with multimedia journalist Amélie St-Yves, Paule Vermot-Desroches discussed the importance of ensuring the survival of local newspapers in all regions of Quebec. Vermot-Desroches was speaking on behalf of the Fédération professionnelle des journalistes du Québec (FPJQ). She emphasized that “the media has the power to change things. [It] exists to help communities take control of their future.”
