Launch of the Le Nouvelliste Cooperative

On the occasion of the newspaper’s 100th anniversary and following the bankruptcy of Groupe Capitales Médias, Le Nouvelliste established a cooperative to assume ownership. With funding from the two unions representing staff members as well as from the community, the cooperative brought renewed enthusiasm about the newspaper’s future.
