An active and engaged member of the community, Diane Vermette continues to inspire at the age of 75! A nature lover and history buff dedicated to inclusion, she is particularly interested in the status of women. For her, teamwork is key, whether she’s participating in sports or volunteering. In addition to being a pillar of support for La Gazette, she can also be found behind the camera and in the control room at Nous TV Mauricie, where the newspaper produces a television program called “La tête dans les nuances” (Head in the Clouds, Eyes on the Details). Furthermore, she is active in a local heritage organization (Patrimoine Trois-Rivières), a regional women’s roundtable (Table de concertation du mouvement des femmes de la Mauricie) and a seasonal choir (Les sauterelles de Noël).
