Date: ca. 1916-1920
Funded by Margaret Mackenzie and opened in 1913, the Kirkfield Inn was praised as being “one of the finest places of its kind in Canada, and should prove very popular with the travelling public as well as with motoring parties out to see some of the finest woodland and rural scenery anywhere.” This magnificent inn was destroyed by fire in 1925.
