Traces of cultivation

Country roads and fields are regularly bordered by a beautiful solitary fruit tree. Has it escaped from the wild or was it planted there by chance? It’s hard to say. Some of these trees, which have been present for more than a generation, are no longer treated and are wrongly referred to as «wild».
