All of the girls who passed through the École normale classico-ménagère de Saint-Pascal had very good references. The quality of the training, which began in 1905, was recognised by all.
Four years after it opened, the school became affiliated with Université Laval, becoming what was known as an “école normale” (normal school). Teachers from the École d’agriculture de Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière taught biology, physics and chemistry there.
With the modernisation of the school system following the Parent Commission (1961-1966), the school became a comprehensive school for students from Secondary 1 to Secondary V.
