In addition to Amable Morin’s house and shed, there was a sheepfold, a dairy, a stable and a shed on his property. When Morin died in 1877, the property passed into the hands of his nephew Éleuthère Pelletier, son of his sister Marie-Céleste Morin. Pelletier’s descendants owned and operated this property for over two centuries.
