My apple tree

I was given an apple tree when I was born. At first, it wasn’t any taller than me. It now measures more than three metres high. That’s taller than I am.

I like to pick apples and make apple crisp and applesauce. At some point, my apple tree stopped producing apples. My neighbor also has an apple tree, and I’m allowed to go and get apples from it.
