This brochure gives the history of the Globensky manor, its owners, and the surrounding neighbourhood. The cover was designed by the illustrator Serge Villeneuve. Built between 1861 and 1865 for the Seigneur Charles-Auguste-Maximilien Globensky, the manor was designated as a historic monument by the government of Québec in 1961. In the 1960s and 1970s, it was the Saint-Eustache city hall.
