Gilbert Gardner: For the Recreation Department, the Fêtes du Vieux Saint-Eustache was seen primarily as a large public event with three dimensions: historical, cultural, and social. And from that perspective, I felt that all the city’s existing organizations needed to contribute to it to ensure that it was a success.
