A knitathon participant at the Fêtes du Vieux Saint-Eustache

For a few years, a knitathon was organized as part of the Fêtes du Vieux Saint-Eustache. All the women who participated in the event had the same needles and the same wool, and the aim was to knit a designated piece as fast as possible. The competition was held on rue Saint-Eustache, in front of the Phildar wool shop, which sponsored the event. In this photo, a knitter concentrates on her work.
