The beverage service at the Fêtes du Vieux-Saint-Eustache

The beer flowed freely! Although Gilbert Gardner and Paul Tardif wanted to preserve the festive aspect of the event, they were forced to remind people every year in the newspapers that excessive drinking would not be tolerated during the Fêtes.
