An “old-fashioned” wedding at the Fêtes du Vieux Saint-Eustache

For a few years, couples could have an “old-fashioned” wedding during the Fêtes du Vieux Saint-Eustache. The newlyweds would be taken to Saint-Eustache church in a horse-drawn cart, and all the guests would dress in period costumes, inspired – somewhat freely – by late 19th century fashions, to attend the ceremony.
