Peter recounts his experience working on the railways during Expo 67.
Peter Taylor: “But it was a good time to be on the trains, in terms of Expo 67. Some really good people working on them that I was, you know, proud to work with and enjoyed working with. And just a great learning experience in both seeing more of Canada and the US, and meeting a whole bunch of people from around the world. And so, it had its rewards, there’s no question about it. And so, the people that did it seemed to work hard at doing it, trying to do well. I don’t remember anybody being obnoxious, or thinking ‘Gosh, I can’t imagine what they’re interfaced with’, with a customer, or a client, or a traveller. People seemed to be there and making the best of it, and doing the best they could.”
