A composite image of three different covers of Ólafur S. Thorgeirsson’s Almanak from the years 1923, 1924, and 1925. All three feature the same version of a famous illustration of the so-called Fjallkonan, or “Lady of the Mountain” by German artist Johann Baptist Zwecker. She traditionally represents a female incarnation of Iceland.
