One of the most popular activities in Queens County is directly related to the county's many waterways: boating!

Pleasure craft of all sizes and types have made their way through Queens County over the past 100 years, navigating their way through rivers and lakes, and exploring creeks and inlets.

Yachts and sailboats from as far away as Venezuela have made their way up the St. John River in order to enjoy Queens County's pristine waters, though many visitors prefer to explore Queens County's waterways using kayaks and canoes in order to gain a more personal connection with the natural surroundings.
