Police have always played an active role in the community. Because of the circumstances of their job, they often see a need for certain programs that will help individuals in the community. Community policing is a philosophy of caring, working with others and helping others. In the following photographs, you will see police officers working together, raising awareness or money to help a charity or individual in need. These activities are performed out of the goodness of their hearts, and beyond their call of duty.
