Glenville School SS#9. The original school built in 1835 was located on Town Line at Hwy 9. In 1885 a new school was built on the south side of the Town Line. The school was sold in 1953 and is now a private residence.

Alice Ferguson, local resident and teacher c.1894, wrote about the ideal conditons in a school that would benefit both students and teachers. "My model school is well ventilated, with an ever changing current of air; warm fresh air displacing the vitiated air. This change of air is not in the form of a draught that can be felt, nor by the opening of windows on opposite sides of the room, but any well-arranged ventilating system built into the school, so that at no hour of the day is the air of the character that causes yawning and drowsiness. This school has a basement and a furnace which warms the floors and all parts of the building evenly, so that on cold winter mornings, the children do not require to sit by the stove to get warm, nor need to be subjected to a "Monday Morning Freeze".

Nobleton School SS #19. The first school was built of log construction in 1820. By 1870 the need for a larger school resulted in a two room school being built on a larger lot east of Hwy 27 on King Rd. The school was covered in brick at a later date and is currently in use as Nobleton Junior PS.

Eversley School SS#22.The original log school was used a as a church as well. It was replaced in 1843 by a red brick school house. A new school was built in 1883 on the current site and in 1961 two rooms were added. In 1972 it was re-opened as Country Day School. The school house is still part of this multi-building private school.

Kinghorn School SS#23. Originally a log school built c1847 with living quarters attached. In 1861 the frame school was built and in 1867 there were two teachers and approx. 75 students. Additions were made to this building in 1958 and 1963 expanding it to a 3 room school and in 1978 the Township of King purchased the school site and leased it to the King Township Historical Society to operate as a museum.
