PRIEST AND BUSINESSMAN

Over the course of his thirty-two years at the head of the parish, Fréchette left great evidence that he had indeed the makings of a businessman. He concluded numerous financial transactions, endorsed certain people in exchange for their insurance policies and acquired properties. He even became shareholder in a match factory... an initiative with serious consequences!
