While the Lake Shore Blue Devils team was disbanded following their victory of 1940, the team name of the "Blue Devils" lives on in Kirkland Lake. Several teams of various levels in town proudly wear the Blue Devils logo on their jersey with a sense of tradition and the hopes of creating their own championship memories.
