The area in which these 2 units cover is quite extensive. It is stretches as far west as the Banff National Park Border, and occasionally beyond and as far east as Secondary Highway #766 and sometimes for mutual aid assistance for Olds. The border stretches just beyond Highway #587 in the north and beyond for mutual aid for Caroline Ambulance. The border in the south includes areas west of Highway #22, down to Water Valley and south to the Mountain View County line. In many of the emergencies that Sundre EMS attend, several of the local Fire Departments may also respond. These include Sundre, Caroline, Cremona, Olds and Didsbury, as well as the local RCMP members. All these services work together in conjunction with the local hospitals and STARS Air Ambulance to ensure every person in need gets the quick and professional help that they require.
