I still remember a dance in the Vider Hall we played for. That is about fifteen miles west of Riverton. This was in the late fifties. At that time we played there every second Saturday.

This time it had rained all day, so two miles this side of the hall we got stuck on the road. We had to walk and carry all our instruments. We got there at 12:00 and started the dance. Of course we were all muddy and wet, but we carried on with the dance until 4:00 in the morning.
