The kitchen features open beam ceilings and a neat corner 'built in' hutch. The current owners of the home have kept the decor quite simple, which would be in keeping the original state of the house.

The Devil's "footprints" were imprinted in the rocks outside of the Thompson house when he leapt from Colliers (a nearby community) and landed on them. No one is sure why Satan landed on that spot but once he did he stayed for some time and slept on the rocks, in the backyard of the house. He also made himself a chair to sit in. If you look closely Satan's chair and bed can be found imbedded in the cliffs in the backyard.
