Around the old iron wheel as it is known, are the remains of other equipment pieces, half buried in the sand among the crumbling foundation of the sawmill.17

About three kilometers up the shoreline from Millertown, you can visit the Beothuk encampment site at Indian Point that was once the location of a Lewis Miller logging camp.19
