WILDCAT WELL- is normally a well that is being drilled in an area where no other wells have been drilled say within 40-50 miles distance. A Wildcatter is referring to an individual who takes great financial risks to drill a wild cat well. May also refer to the crews of a wild cat well.WILDWELL- (pictured) A well that flows out of control.
