Just because Lloyd retired from the oil patch, doesn't mean the Stafford story ends here.

In 1932, George Howard Stafford was born in Calgary. After finishing high school in Wetaskiwin, Howard went on to graduate from Univeristy as a Geologist.

As a member of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Conservation Board Howard was involved in the evaluation of oil and gas reserves and the oil sands; regional geological studies; administration of regulartory policies and responsibilities.

Howard went on to be an advisor to the Alberta Securities Commission, and he later retired from the Energy Resources Conservation Board in 1987.

Howard is the father of George Roderick Frank Stafford and the grandfather of George Curtis Stafford.

It is possible that one day there will be more pages to add to their Alberta Oil Family Album.
