Today, Enge lives contentedly in a seniors' complex, her days filled with activity and with family. One almost has to make an appointment to see her. As she tells of her working days in Medalta Potteries, her natural exuberance, humour and quickness of mind are still evident. Her comment "I was never a doormat and don't plan to be." might well sum up the character of Engilena Stappler Kessler. |
