Hubert Evans called himself a "journeyman". He worked with his hands and the process of keeping himself physically active helped him with his creative processes. Evans died in 1986 after spending his life pursuing the career he loved: writing. Hubert and Anna Evans were free spirits who travelled light by not encumbering themselves with too many possessions and by embracing the world that surrounded them.
