The Valemount Shopping Centre was completed in 1979. Some of the businesses include the Cinema, the Valemount Drug Mart, E&S Laundromat, L&W Pizza and The Willows Gift Shop.

Of the original businesses, only the laundromat and L&W Pizza remain (in 2008).
