Veteran bush pilot George (Dal) Dalziel, during his days as a civilian pilot for the U.S. Army. During the 1930's, flying to and from the Nahanni Valley Trapline in a Curtiss Robin, he became known as the "Flying Trapper". In 1950, Dal moved his family to Watson Lake, Y.T, bought three Custom Wacos, and started B.C.- Yukon Air Service. He died December 26,1982 on Saltspring Island .
