Outdoor rinks and in the Kirkland Lake Arena

I played well, Midgets, I guess I played some in the [Kirkland Lake] Arena. But all of Bantam was played in the outdoor rinks. So we went from the afternoon, then you just go home [have supper], change, go play Bantams on the outdoor rinks. So yeah, the Midget was the first time we got indoors. And it was...yeah, it was like going from here and going into Maple Leaf Gardens. You know you look at Maple Leaf Gardens and go "holy mackeral". I know I remember it was the first time in Junior, we were playing in the Gardens and I'm going "oh, what am I doing here". You know, we were quite thrilled. Well, to come in as a kid to go into the Kirkland Lake rink, well it wasn't as big as Maple Leaf Gardens, but it had that same feeling.
