TRANSCRIPT

There were only two lifts in North America with a bend in them; one was down in the States, in the eastern States, and this one. So, he said, "it can be done, we can build it for you." And what it actually entailed was getting it laid out with a top station just underneath the first lookout. So that's where your haul back line was and the bull wheel, was up there. Not complex, very simple actually, I was surprised at it, and you had to make sure you had good stays on the haul back tower, where the bend was, that's all, and the rest of it was good. And all of the foundations were like toes, into the rock. So you had to make sure that you got holes dug out there in all four corners. And then they ran steel down into those corners and they were solid.
