TRANSCRIPT

Well there were there would be 3 things in the village or 4 things counting the church and the school uh was the cheese factory it was a gathering place the store was right next the general store was right next door so it drew a lot of business because the farmers would stop at that store also there was a blacksmith's shop at the other end of the village so there would be 3 major stops there that the farmer may fit in to uh bring the milk in and they would bring the milk in and get their cans washed and then uh the possibly stop at the store or stop at the blacksmiths shop which was also a repair place and it became a gas station as well at the other end of the village. So those were the...it was… it had a lot more activity than it would now because of the just the numbers of the people that would be coming to the factory.
