Ken Graham: My dad came back from the war in 1946 and he worked at Frost & Woods until they closed and I remember him telling me the day they closed that they closed the plant - they announced the closure - along the back part here there were a lot of shops and the wall faced right out over the river and guys who were working in there were throwing their tools and everything right out the windows.
