Ken Graham: I certainly remember the plant. I was born in '52 so I was eight years old when it was torn down but when I was a boy we used to - my Cub leader used to live in a house right on the corner where - you know where the Smiths Falls Restaurant is? Where the liquor store used to be? Benson Auto parts is there now. That used to be Himey [?] Waxman's house and they moved that house - it's three stories - and they moved it from there and it's down on the bottom of Old Mill Road now. But in behind it there used to be several houses that belonged to Frost & Wood. They were company houses. That's where my wife's grandmother - they lived there while Joe - her husband, Joe Lorimer - worked at Frost & Wood.
